We've Been Busy.....

Hi Everyone,

Once again, let me start out with an apology for not posting in what I think has been about a month. Between Joey traveling, the batteries in the camera dying, and my forgetting to get the camera, I haven't updated the blog in awhile. Let me give you an update.....we have paint on most of the house, we picked out cabinet doors, Jon, Gene and Mikey hung them last week, most of them have been stained or painted, Joey and I picked out lighting, flooring, back splashes, we ordered the granite for the kitchen, and the marble for the bathrooms, and we have a driveway (or a landing strip as it has been called :) ). Oh, and we also shopped for cabinet hardware and door knobs last Saturday. I think Joey and I are both tired of making decisions and are ready to get in our house. If I could move in the way it is now I think I would just to get out of our apartment and give the kids room to play. Anyway, here are some pictures. Let me know what you think about the paint color in the living room. I was a little scared at first, but I think we are going to keep it on the walls and paint the ceiling and foyer a different color.

Hi Allyson and Joey,

Wow, I love everything! I like the way you stained your baseboards and crown moulding. The kitchen cabinets look awesome. I like the paint in the den, if you don't like it at first, you will like it when you get your floor and furniture in.

I'm so happy ya'll are getting close to the end.

I can't wait to see it all finished, (I know ya'll can't either.) If I knew someone who had a small plane, we could use your landing strip and fly right up to the door!

I hope to see it soon! It's beautiful!

Hi,

It all looks great. Give us another update! I was confused about the den color and kitchen color (imagine that!) Whatever room, I loved the color. It is very rich looking and will look great with the stain. It reminds me of your old house (I loved the colors there too, esp. the "copper" in the foyer. You have really good taste!

Good luck with everything!

Love,
Aunt Jan
