Instead of emailing pictures on a regular basis of the house construction, I thought setting up this blog would be easier. I hope you enjoy. As I get new pictures, I will update the site. The pictures that I've already sent out are here as well.
How it all Began.....
Right before I was due for Dalton, Joey and I decided to move to Vicksburg. We could be closer to work and closer to daycare. We put our house up for sale and 10 days later it was sold. The nice couple that bought our house allowed us to stay in it until Dalton was born. In Feb. we moved to Vicksburg to an apartment. Yuck! Going from a house to an apartment was a major adjustment. We've been here for a year now and are so ready to get this house built. We can't wait to move in.
Where we are now......
The house is being framed right now. We found a wonderful builder - Jon Ross with Ross Construction. We have framed walls and a roof. He is putting the final touches on the house before he puts in the windows and doors. Yeah!
Joey and I picked out plumbing fixtures, tubs, toilet, etc. last week and the week before. We already picked out brick (I didn't realize there were so many types and colors to choose from). We also picked out a shingle color. The door and windows came in today. Yeah again! I think Joey said they started bricking today. When I get some of those pictures, I will post.
